Octopus Garden
The Whitebrier boasts one of the largest outdoor dining areas on the 7 Mile Island. The Octopus Garden is Avalon’s best Saturday happy hour party. Enjoy a lively atmosphere on weekends and a relaxed vibe during the week. A full menu including sushi is available. Its the perfect place to dine after you roll off the beach. We do not accept reservations for this portion of the restaurant.
Mermaid Cafe
Under normal circumstances, the Mermaid Cafe is home to Avalon’s hottest dance parties. The recently redecorated room is both beachy and festive with large doors that open up to the outdoor deck and patio where you can escape to get some fresh air and converse with friends. Come party with us here on weekends throughout the summer or ask about renting out the space for your own private event.

The Whitebrier is a family friendly restaurant and bar offering three different venues in one location and boasting one of the largest outdoor dining areas at the Jersey Shore. The Motorboat Club Restaurant has 20 rotating beers on tap and serves classic seashore fare 7 days a week during the season. Come enjoy a night out under the stars with friends in our outdoor patio area, the Octopus Garden. We have the best sushi in town and delicious specialty cocktails. The Mermaid Cafe is a weekend destination for the island’s hottest nightlife and is home to the best happy hour at the Shore. 21st Street is Avalon’s Block That Rocks!
